Olga Viakhireva began her career at age 10, modeling for fashion houses and creating her own designs in the later days of Soviet Union. Such experiences set in motion her future career path.

She earned degrees in fashion design and patternmaking from Kiev Fashion Institute and New York’s Fashion Institute Of Technology. Olga has since worked for fashion houses in New York and Europe, including Karl Lagerfeld, Liz Claiborne, Limited Brands Inc., Jones New York, L’Oreal, Tom Klaim and Saga Furs of Scandinavia, designing, sourcing, managing and traveling.

In 2000 Olga launched her Moscow-based brand O’La Vi, celebrating the beauty and power of the modern women with feminine clothing easily transformable from business daywear to evening glamour. Her collections focus on fashion functionality, featuring reversible wear and custom accessories.

The brand presents a global vision of European and American style. An important aspect to the brand comes with philanthropic work, including RADD, Russian Children’s Foundation and benefits for foundations working for the empowerment of women. Her runway shows at pret-a-porter fashion weeks in Moscow received great response and got featured on Fashion TV.

Olga currently designs in New York, greatly inspired by The City That Never Sleeps.
